Booking an appointment.

If there is not a date/time shown that works for you, please reach out to me directly by texting me at 781-724-3747 and I am usually able to accommodate your request. Please fill out the client intake form that will be emailed to you after you book and I confirm the visit. Lactation care is mandated to be covered under most insurance plans per the Affordable Care Act but the companies vary in terms of how they approach the mandate. I am an out-of-network provider. Many insurance companies (BCBS of MA, Tufts, MGB, Allways, Harvard Pilgrim) will typically reimburse families without any problem. Aetna, United, MassHealth, Blue Benefit and Tricare do not always reimburse for my services because they have other in network providers. If you want to work with me, just call because everyones insurance plan is different. If you have BCBS of MA and they try and tell you that they will only reimburse in network providers, please call back again or ask to speak to a supervisor because this is not true.

Please ask your insurance company “how do I get reimbursed for out of network lactation services?”

Please verify with your insurance company by calling member services and ask about their policy and process regarding reimbursement (not coverage) of lactation support for an out-of-network provider. After our visit, I will provide you with a receipt (aka: superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I cannot guarantee reimbursement, but I do work with families to help get my services reimbursed.
