  • Follow Up Lactation Consultation

    In Home — $300

    Virtual — $250

    1.5-2hrs

This visit is a continuation of our initial visit. It will check on goals we set in previous visit, assess our plan we created and address any possible new concerns. Depending on your initial consultation - sometimes follow-up visits are highly recommended and encouraged (i.e. if we have concerns about low supply, poor weight gain for baby, nipple shield use or those I gave a triple feeding plan to - I usually need to see you again in 7 days to re-assess).

This follow up visit can be 3 days after our initial or 3, 6 or 9 months later. Distracted feeding with your 6 month old thats learning the world around him? Let me help you!

This appointment is broken up into two appointments. The first one is ~45min-1hr to lay out the plan for you and then the second one is a quick 30min check in (if you want) 3-5 days later to answer any questions you may have.

If I have not met or spoke to you or your baby before - the price for this is $375 so I can appropriately assess you and your baby’s medical history

Or - do you have a baby that just…..wont..take..a..bottle????? No matter what you do they just….arch, scream, cry, refuse, thrust the bottle from their mouth? That can be SO so so extremely hard and frustrating. Let me help you. • Planning to Return to Work

    In Home — $225

    Virtual — $175

    This appointment is 60min

Ugh…your maternity leave is over and now we are prepping for mom/dad AND baby to enter in the next chapter of parenthood. Not sure how to transition to more bottles? The logistics of pumping at work? Want some tips and tricks for pumping and storing milk on the go? Want to talk about how to adjust to working parent life and how to set you and your little one up for success? This is the appointment for you.

If I have not met you and your baby before, the price is $375 for my initial fee so I can appropriately review you and your baby’s medical history and make a plan.

If I have never met you or your baby before or had a prior appointment - you will be billed for an initial fee. This is so I can appropriately review you and your baby’s medical history and make the best possible customized plan for you and your family.

If there are no appointment times available in my online booking site that work for you and your family - please feel free to contact me so I can try and accommodate your request.

Full Disclosure: I am a private IBCLC - I do not bill insurance companies directly for my services. Payment for the services I provide is billed to the client and is expected prior to the start of the appointment. I accept all payments through square. I will provide you with the necessary information and documents to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Through the Affordable Care Act - most health insurance companies (BCBS, Allways/MGB, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts) will reimburse 100% for lactation support services. Aetna, Tricare, United and Cigna insurance carriers should call member services and ask about reimbursement. The only plan that does not reimburse for lactation services is Mass Health. However, I want United and Cigna members to call because they have reimbursed some of my clients. I highly encourage you to call the number on the back of your health insurance card and talk to member services about the reimbursement process for out-of-network lactation services. *See my FAQ page for more info*

I never want a mother, baby or family to go without support - if cost is an issue and insurance does not cover the cost of your visit, please e-mail me and we can discuss the best course of action for you and your family.
